The nights are drawing in, the squirrels are busy hoarding their bounty and Samhain (All Hallow's Eve, Halloween, Day of the Dead- where the veil between worlds grows thin) is just around the corner.
Here in the UK we are blessed to experience all four seasons. (sometimes in one day!). We can't change these seasonal weather shifts, but we can maintain internal balance by adjusting our lifestyles and nurturing ourselves. It's also natural for us to feel these changes within us. Maybe you've begun to crave warming soups and casseroles, apple crumble (and custard), a long hot soak in the bath...
Listen to these cues, maybe light candles and incense around the house, Turn off your phone and get some early nights, wear layers of warm comfy clothes, make a hot chocolate -every now and then.
There are so many wonderful yoga practices that can help us too. Yoga Nidra is incredibly restorative and restful, so my offering to you is a FREE GIFT of a 20 min yoga nidra. Click here or below for a link to the recording and also to learn more about yoga nidra.

Firstly, I'd like to say a huge Thank you to all those who supported our recent kirtan "Singing for Peace"
It was a truly lovely and heart-felt evening and in honour of this special event, £45 has been donated to the registered charity Children of Peace. https://www.childrenofpeace.org.uk/
Children of Peace is a small, non-partisan charity dedicated to building friendship, trust and reconciliation between Israeli and Palestinian children, aged 4 - 17, and their communities. Their aim is to develop a shared spirit via arts, education, health and sports programmes; so future generations might live and work peacefully side-by-side.
In my yoga class and on my Blog, I'm continuing the journey through the Yamas and Yoga Philosophy. I also explain the fascinating Law of Circulation and how it is inextricably linked to the third yama: Asteya.
Half Term Class Dates Reminder:
No classes on Tuesday 31st Oct. or Thursday 2nd Nov.
Friday 3rd Nov is still on.

I would really value your support in helping me grow my very small business in this ever expanding and very competitive market. Having positive Google reviews makes all the difference to me - to either being seen, or not. If you are able, please shine a light in my direction.
