A Wheel of the Year Ritual

Saturday 31st October 2026
2.30pm – 6.30pm
£47 per person
Followed by a free optional Community Fireside Gathering, 6.30pm – 7.30pm
Together We Will...

• Move gently through grounding seasonal yoga and breathwork
• Explore the yogic ideas of Samskara — the patterns and impressions we carry — and Aparigraha, the practice of loosening our grip and creating space
• Journal with guided prompts for reflection, remembrance and release
• Create a small simple Samhain broom or besom, using natural materials.
• Use our handmade brooms in a symbolic ritual to sweep away what we no longer wish to carry
• Honour the end of the harvest, giving thanks for what has ripened, sustained and nourished us
• Create a shared Samhain altar of harvest and remembrance
• Make space for our ancestors and others we wish to draw near — family, friends, teachers, guides, beloved animals or anyone whose presence continues to touch our lives
• Rest deeply with Yoga Nidra and crystal singing bowls
• Spend time in candlelight, stillness and reflection as we cross the threshold towards winter

At the end of our afternoon, Tarot and Angel cards will also be available for anyone who feels drawn to quietly choose a card for reflection or guidance.
No previous yoga experience is needed.
Everything is offered as an invitation. You are always welcome to take part in the way that feels right for you.

An Afternoon of Yoga, Ritual, Reflection, Sound & Seasonal Connection
As the veil between worlds thins and the last gifts of autumn are gathered in, Samhain invites us to slow down, listen and remember.

Samhain marks a threshold — a sacred pause between endings and beginnings, between the abundance of autumn and the quieter months of winter.

Last year, our Samhain gathering explored the Witch Wound and the reclaiming of the intuitive, wise and magical parts of ourselves that may have been hidden or silenced.
This year, we continue the journey.

We turn towards what we carry with us: the experiences, patterns, people, stories and wisdom that have shaped us.

We honour the harvest — both the visible harvest of the earth and the quieter harvest of our own lives.
And, as nature begins to release and retreat, we ask:

- What do I wish to carry with me?
- What has completed its season?
- What am I ready to lay down as I move into winter?

Join me for four spacious hours of movement, meditation, creativity, ritual, sound and soulful reflection.

Our Samhain Altar
At the centre of our gathering will be a shared seasonal altar representing both remembrance and the final harvest.
If you feel called, you are invited to bring something to add to it.

For remembrance, you might bring:

• A photograph
• A small personal object
• A flower, feather or keepsake
• Something representing someone you would like to remember or draw close - This might be an ancestor or family member, a friend, teacher, guide or beloved animal.

For the harvest,

You might also bring a small seasonal offering that represents the closing of the harvest and our movement towards winter.

Perhaps:
• An autumn leaf
• An apple
• Nuts or acorns
• Conkers
• Berries or seed heads
• A small piece of something foraged
• Something from your own garden

There are no rules around what you bring, simply choose something that has meaning for you.

What We Carry, What We Release
Samhain reminds us that release does not erase what has been.
Some things become part of our roots.
Some become wisdom.
Some are ready to return to the earth.

Through reflection, movement and ritual we will notice the patterns we have gathered along the way and consider which still belong with us.

Our small handmade Samhain brooms will become part of this ritual — a simple, physical way of sweeping away what feels complete and creating space for the season ahead.
You may also choose to write something you are ready to release and keep it with you for our evening fire ceremony.

Deep Rest & The Fertile Dark
As the afternoon moves towards evening, we will allow ourselves to become quieter.
Through Yoga Nidra, deep relaxation and the vibration of the crystal singing bowls, we will journey into the stillness of the season.
