Sunday Sadhana & Sangha

A deeper Sunday practice, followed by conversation, exploration and community

Sunday 11 October 2026
Sunday 29 November 2026

At the end of each six-week yoga term, I invite you to join me for an afternoon with a little more space.

Space to slow down.
Space to practise more deeply.
Space to rest.

And space to explore some of the wider teachings of yoga that we often touch upon in class but rarely have enough time to fully unpack.

You are welcome to join me for the Sunday Sadhana, the Sunday Sangha, or stay for the whole afternoon.

Sunday Sadhana

2.45–4.33pm | 108 minutes

Sadhana is a Sanskrit word for a dedicated practice — a practice through which we cultivate awareness, steadiness and a deeper relationship with ourselves.

Our 108-minute Sunday Sadhana will be an unhurried, nourishing practice incorporating:

  • gentle, mindful movement

  • pranayama and breath awareness

  • time for stillness and deep relaxation

  • a full 20–25 minute Yoga Nidra

  • crystal singing bowl sound bath

Each Sadhana will also gently reflect the theme and teachings we have been exploring during the preceding six-week term.

There is nowhere to rush to and nothing to achieve. This is an opportunity to give yourself a longer period of uninterrupted practice and rest.

2.45–4.33pm
£22 per person

Spaces for the Sadhana are limited, so advance booking is essential.

Tea & Refreshments

4.33–5pm

Those staying for the Sangha are invited to pause for tea and light refreshments before we gather again.

Sunday Sangha

5–6pm | Free

Sangha traditionally means community — people coming together around shared practice, learning and exploration.

Our Sunday Sangha offers a relaxed space to go a little deeper into yoga beyond the physical practice.

Each gathering will be different and may include:

  • exploration of the theme from the previous six-week term

  • yogic philosophy and teachings

  • Sanskrit words and their meanings

  • pranayama, meditation or mantra

  • chanting or kirtan

  • short practices

  • readings and reflections

  • questions and group discussion

  • occasional visiting teachers or contributors

The Sangha Question Bowl

During the term, you will also be able to add questions to our Sangha Question Bowl.

Perhaps something has been mentioned during a class that you would like to understand more deeply. Perhaps you have wondered why we practise something in a particular way, what a Sanskrit word means, or how an ancient yogic teaching relates to life today.

Add your question to the bowl and we can explore some of them together during our Sunday gathering.

There is no expectation that you already understand yogic philosophy or terminology. The Sangha is a place to become more familiar with these ideas through conversation, curiosity and shared exploration.

5–6pm
Free to attend

You are very welcome to come to the Sangha even if you have not attended the Sadhana beforehand.

Please reserve a free place so that I have an idea of numbers.
