Video Library & Zoom Disclaimer & Guidelines

When you take part in the video library or Zoom Classes you agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, which you might incur as a result.

 

By joining my the video library or Zoom you automatically accept full responsibility for your own safety and recognise that in absence of a teacher physically present to advise you, it is your duty to take full responsibility to ensure that you stay within your physical limits. Alison Foster Yoga shall not bear any responsibility for any injury sustained within the scope of your participation in the on-line meditation course. Practice with care and with awareness.

 

If you have any physical and/or mental health conditions which might be exacerbated by Yoga practice and/or meditation please consult a doctor before taking part in the online classes. 

By taking part in these classes, you agree not to record the sessions or to share links with any other person without express permission from Alison Foster Yoga.

Preparation:

  • Make a clear space for your practice and use a Yoga mat if you have one.

  • Try to ensure you will not be disturbed. Switch off your phone and let people in your household know you are taking some time for your Yoga practice.

  • Wear comfortable clothing and remove shoes.

  • You may need a blanket and some cushions or blocks to help with sitting and also for the deep relaxation.

  • You will need to find a comfortable sitting position. 

Asana / Posture Work:

  • There will be a few stretches and moves to ease the body, aim to be steady and comfortable with whatever you are doing.

  • Any movements or postures that don’t suit your body, or are contraindicated for heath conditions, miss them out or do an alternative practice and ensure that you stay within your physical limits.

 

Breathing / Pranayama

  • If your breathing is strained, or if you feel dizzy you should STOP and take a break.

  • Take your time, and avoid trying too hard. Less is More.
