You will leave rested, rejuvenated, clear headed and calm, ready for your weekend. Classes start with connection to and an exploration of your breath. You will be expertly guided into a short breathing practice as well as one or two very gentle restorative yoga postures to ease tensions in the body. These may differ each week but are accessible to all, with full explanations given. You will then snuggle up warmly and be lovingly guided into a deep relaxation -loosely themed around Mother Nature or the cycles of the moon, experiencing a deep sense of inner connection and rest, whilst simultaneously being bathed in the healing frequencies of sound. Sounds will include Tibetan and Himalayan singing bowls, bells, chimes, drums & drones. The Healing Power of Sound A Sound Bath is a therapeutic experience that involves immersing oneself in the soothing sounds of various instruments which produce harmonious frequencies that resonate throughout the body, inducing a state of deep relaxation and inner peace. As participants rest they are enveloped in a cocoon of sound, allowing tensions to melt away and the mind to drift into a meditative state. The healing effects of sound baths are profound and multifaceted. The gentle vibrations produced by sound instruments help to calm the nervous system, alleviate anxiety, and promote a sense of inner calm. As the mind relaxes, the body follows suit, releasing tension stored in muscles and tissues. By inducing a state of deep relaxation, sound vibrations can help individuals achieve a more restful and rejuvenating sleep, leading to increased energy levels and overall well-being. Sound baths also have the capacity to enhance mental clarity and focus. As the mind enters a meditative state during a sound bath, cognitive chatter begins to quiet, allowing for greater clarity of thought and heightened awareness. This mental clarity can be invaluable for problem-solving, creative inspiration, and cultivating a sense of inner wisdom. There are also numerous physical and spiritual benefits. Please note: These sessions are suitable for most people but do read the contraindications before purchasing a ticket.

Important Considerations: While sound baths can be a beneficial and rejuvenating experience for many people, there are certain individuals who may need to exercise caution or avoid participating altogether. It's important to consider individual circumstances and health conditions beforehand. Here are some situations in which individuals should approach sound baths with caution or refrain from participation: Pregnancy: Pregnant individuals should consult with their healthcare provider before participating in a sound bath, particularly during the first trimester. Epilepsy: Individuals with epilepsy or a history of seizures should consult with their healthcare provider before participating in a sound bath. Certain frequencies or patterns of sound vibrations may trigger seizures in susceptible individuals, so it's important to approach sound baths with caution. Serious Medical Conditions: Individuals with serious medical conditions, such as heart disease, a fitted pace-maker, untreated high blood pressure, or severe mental health disorders, should consult with their healthcare provider before participating in a sound bath. Hearing Impairments: While individuals with hearing impairments may still be able to participate in a sound bath through vibration or tactile sensation, it's important to ensure that the experience is safe and comfortable for them. Sound baths that focus primarily on auditory stimulation may not be suitable for individuals with significant hearing loss. Sensitivity to Sound: Some individuals may be particularly sensitive to certain frequencies or volumes of sound, which can cause discomfort or distress. It's important for participants to communicate any concerns or preferences to the facilitator before the sound bath begins, so that adjustments can be made to accommodate individual needs. Ultimately, individuals should consult with their healthcare provider if they have any concerns or underlying health conditions before participating in a sound bath.
