Rest the body & Calm the Mind 

  • Do you feel the need to take some time out for yourself?

  • Are you struggling with anxiety, stress or have an over-active mind?

Deeply resting the body and simple meditation techniques can help you find peacefulness in your life; they can help calm the body and mind and put you in a better place both mentally and emotionally.

These courses will explore a range of simple, short practices, styles, techniques, tools and adaptations, that I have worked with over the years. I will guide and support you through each practice, week on week, so you are able to develop your own practice. Each session will incorporate an extended restorative relaxation to deeply rest the body, and there will also be time for discussion. You do not need to be able to sit cross legged! Chairs & other props available on the In-Person option.


Each course will focus on a particular practice or style which we will develop over the 4 weeks. You will have access to the recorded video session for each week along side a step by step handout for home practice.

These courses are suitable for complete beginners or those who want to develop their own practice and techniques further.

There are two booking options. Either in person at the Streetly Yoga Shala or live online from the comfort of your own home via zoom. 

A bit about how meditation has helped me....

I have an incredibly active mind, and for most of my adult life, I have been in search of how to calm and quieten the constant and incessant, inner chattering mind - in a healthy and long-lasting way. As a result, my meditation journey has been a long one, I've practiced many different meditation techniques over the last 30+ years and would now like to share what I have learned and benefited from with you.

April: 21st, 28th, May 12th,19th

June: 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

Your investment for each 4 week course is £22.50
